650 convert top sensor malfunction

For the forth time I'm taking my 650 in for the same problem. After car has been parked and locked, come out to find warning that top is not latched and red light at top up and down buttons is blinking. Trunk won't open. When you push either button the windows go down half way and then lock in place. Whole system then locks up. They've reprogramed and replaced sensors but problem is back. Very frustating. Any ideas appreciated.

Service Bulletin SIB541706 has a procedure to modify the sensors based on build date. Make sure your dealer is using this information
