once issues fixed on 2002-2003, do they stay fixed
If I were to look at a 2003 or 2004, once all the gremlins get worked on and it's got, say 80K miles on it, do they stay fixed, or are people still replacing, re-flashing the same computer controller parts over and over? I am thinking of actually trying to buy E65/E66 with 70-80K miles on it, one that "has" had a list of problems, but had them fixed.
Please tell me that once this stuff gets fixed, it'll stay that way.

Re: once issues fixed on 2002-2003, do they stay fixed
My CD Changer broke (fixed under warranty) and then 2 years and 3 months later (out of the 2 year warranty) broke again. Dealer told me where to go. $1,000 to fix the CD Changer.
Rediculuous. I am living without it for now. Have single disk? Although can not take out cartridge. Makes funny noises.
The car you are thinking of buying better be immaculate and you should be gettting a deal. These cars cost a lot of money to maintain.
A dealer finance person told me he would not even buy one. I have one and love it, but it comes with a price.
Can you imagine if something major goes wrong with the car.
