    Oh boy!!!!

    Any help would be great..

My 1990 735i M30 has a coolant leak under number 6 spark plug ( near windscreen ) I checked under the car and it seems to be leaking from the corner of where the head meets the block ( head gasket ). Its a small leak about 7 to 8 drops overnight.

Can i just tighten the two headbolts above the leak? and hope for the best or am I looking at replacing the head gasket. If its a new head gasket do I need to get the head skimmed?

    Thanks guys

    you can try retightening

if it has to be shaved, depends on the condition of the cylinder head of course. It must be tested/measured, if t is straight, no need to be shavedShogun E32 Tech Tips: http://twrite.org/shogunnew/topmenu.html
