    Water leak from roof/antenna

Has anyone ever had an issue with water leaking from their roof antenna? ('00 328ci) With hard rain I get water dropping from the end of the rear headliner down onto the rear seats. I took the brake light cover off and when water is sprayed at the antenna it will gush down. Do you have to remove the headliner to remove the antenna base? I'm thinking about just caulking the antenna but would rather replace it if it is possible.

    Thanks! Brittany

I had the problem too. The gasket at the base of the antenna hardens and cracks with time. You can disassemble the base in 30 seconds using the plastic key that came with the user's manual.
