Getrag 260 onto 94 540i M60 V8
I'm in need of info, I'm selling my Getrag 260 from an 87' 535is and a potential buyer wants to know if it will bolt up to his M60 V8 in his 94 540iT wagon. Yes he is aware of all of the work that will need to go into this swap ie. Pedals, Flywheel, etc. but his Auto Trans is stuck in gear and he just wants to swap to a 5-speed now. SO, is this a direct bolt on, or no?

Pretty sure you can not. It would only fit an M30.
