    Excellent travel tips.Thanks!

My wife and I just returned from a trip to San Antonio in our Z3 and thanks to you guys we experienced some wonderful driving roads. The Texas Hill Country was very scenic (bluebonnets still in the fields) and took us on some real twisties that we never would have expected out there. Kerrville, Bouerne, Fredericksburg (please excuse the spellings if wrong) and an incredible visit to the Salt Lick BBQ. Wow!! Also on the way home we completed part of the Natchez Trace from Natchez to Tupelo, MS. Just zero traffic and it was a gorgeous 'top down' ride. The views of the Mississippi from near the gambling boat casino in Natchez were just incredible from the top of the hill. We couldn't make any of the Z3 trips with you guys but your tips gave us the next best thing. Thanks!

Sorry, I tried the 'insert pic' but getting it accepted didn't work. I'm not good at that stuff. I'm sure it is easy, but not for me.

    Hey, we didn't see you

My wife and I have been on the roade since May 4th from Hickory NC, TN, AL, MS, yes we did the Natchez Trace too, great food in Lousiana, about 8 days in TX, including San Antonio, Fredricksburg, and Luchenbach too, then Austin, Big Bend, Fajitas, Presidio, Ft. Davis, Roswell NM (UFO), 2 days in beautiful Santa Fe, a night at the incredibly beautifual View Hotel in Monument Valley, Utah and are presently in Page AZ today. We have a long way to go, and 6 weeks to to do it. Enjoy these great rides in the Z. Mine has performed incredibly well on all the roads, and few interstates.

So far, 3249 miles on this trip, I don't go as the crow flies.

Check out my blog at www.hickoryclazzic.blogspot.com.

You can do one too, just check out google blog.

Enjoy your drives, we are with ours.

No, I'm just not into that stuff. Sorry. No Facebok, no Myspace, no nothing but Z3 forums and the other two car forums I belong to.

Re: Hey, we didn't see you

We left on May 1. Interesting the paths we crossed. Glad all is going well. I did pick up a nail in Galveston that needed to be patched up, otherwise all OK. My speedometer actually stopped working for about 1/2 hour for no apparent reason and then it was perfect the rest of the time. The tach was fine. We totalled 3800 miles. The 3.0L just seemed to want more and more. Very impressive. Have a great remainder of your trip. Our next big Z3 activity will be the Maggie Valley trip in October. This will be our 3rd one.
