    Microswitch and soft top liner

How does one get to the Microswitch?
I understand it's under the soft top liner. Where do I detach the soft top liner?

You can get to it as it sits. When in the driver's seat, turn your head left and look up to the break in the top, where it bends when opening. There is a little rectangular black plate with two torx screws in it, and that will gain access to the microswitch. Very simple, no top removal necessary

just a bit. If you need to go all the way manually, then just open the trunk, and on the driver side behind the carpet, is the hydraulic pump with a T handle on it. Just turn that, (Iforget which way) whichever way it will turn, then you can manipulate the top manually up and down.
