Today I signed off the pinky of the 1.9 to one of us... I know he's gonna take care good care of her and enjoy it as much as I did...

The BT is probably gonna be a keeper...
...I have it for sale at $10K but haven't got a serious interest yet (only Nigerian scammers: buyers be very aware cuz they are getting sophisticated and even call you to make it seems legit). I have no intention on dropping the price below that.
In the meantime I'm looking at getting a set of rear tires for the style 42 composite rims to put on the BT and also considering dropping the rear end & transmission to service them (shift pins, guibo, rear subframe bushings, fuel tank straps)...
Do you and/or Steve feel like getting dirty? ehehehe...

Sure, bring it up.....
If you can arrange the rental of the cam install tool, that'd be great too. I hope to have all the parts by the end of next week.
Steve, how do you feel about a drive over here?

Mmmmhhhh... So you're saying reassemble your...
...engine and take apart half of my car... That sounds a little challenging, and I would rather work on my car here at home, so if something goes wrong it's in my garage... There's always a couple of parts missing.
I'll check if I can rent the cam tool

I just got it up from So. Cal.
On the way, I exposed it to a driving condition rarely seen in Orange County, RAIN. 3 AM Los Banos and I'm looking for a place to raise the top without getting soaked.
Time to get started on the first order of business. Repair the door damaged by the unknown but easily identified pick-up truck owner. I'm off to the paint shop.
