    AC vacuum pump or compressor

I'm trying to evacuate all the refrigerant from my AC system.
Can someone please suggest which AC vacuum pump i need from this link?

    here

The other option is to purchase a compressor and rent the AC pump fitting from Autozone. I don't know what to look for in a compressor.

    Which is the cheapest route?
    Thanks :)

Here's a couple threads that might help...

...looks like the guy who wrote them knows AC systems quite well since it has been working on it for 3 summers in a row...
