Cold Start Clicking/ticking Sound
2001 - 330i, Automatic, 75K Miles.
Cold Start Clicking/ticking Sound estimated coming from front left observed while driving. Not from mid engine or valve area. Goes away within 30 secs of normal driving 2500-3500 RPM. Typically happens if temps overnight are cold.
Guidance please.

Guesses from long distance are
not the highest form of accurate!
Your belts spin the power steering and alternator in that area. Could be a failing bearing in one of those. Do you know how to listen with a long screwdriver as you start the engine? Have you opened the hood and listened while starting? Consider the idler wheel bearings too.
Can isolate all of these by removing the belt and seeing if the noise starts.
Keep us informed about your path to the solution?
