    What are these things for?

    Removing the rear lights plastic covers inside the trunk I noticed the one on the left hand has like a little storage tray area on the top surface, the one on the right though had some kind of retaining structure for something.

    Does anyone know what this is?

    Suspect that spare bulb kit fits on the left side & right side is a clip for the warning triangle. Both, I believe are mandatory onboard items in some parts of Europe.
