rear lower outer pivot bushing at knuckle

last couple of days new Michelin 255/45 zr18 rear tires, pads, rotors and alignment person says I need

to replace both left and right rear lower outer pivot bushing at knuckle.
2.6 hours @85.00 per hour each side and knuckle bushings 133.88 for both. total around 643 including alignment

    mileage is 66000..

Is that about right for knuckle bushing, could it be covered by way expired warranty?

    It's possible.
Have the boots on the ball-joints gone bad?
The boots on these bushing fail more with age than mileage.
The 5 hrs to R&R just the ball joints seems a bit much.
Also, the rear suspension has a guide link and wishbone on each side that wear and cause tramlining (rear suspension steering).
I replaced all that rear suspension stuff ($800 in parts) at 100k mi.
The ball joint on the guiding link was pretty loose and I should have been replaced sooner.
