stupid deployment...
...I'd be there otherwise! I'd love to make ZFest but it's too far this year. I like the "unofficial, non-sanctioned homecoming" idea, too. Think we can relocate to central Asia? The roads here are...well...there aren't any roadster-friendly roads here but we could share a few (well the limit is 2) beers. Hmmm...maybe Spartanburg or LA work better...
At least I have a good view from my "dorm"

Re: Greenville/Labor Day
Still thinking about it. I'm hoping this constant 90+ degree weather breaks eventually. Coming to Greenville to sweat even more doen't sound like much fun right now. Really looking forward to the Maggie Valley run this Fall. Not likely to snow again in October this year. What happened to 'normal' seasonal weather?

Not whinning, just don't have the time to do a cross country ride. And while I don't have Blain's milage, mine is a daily driver with 133000 miles. Some day I hope to do the cross country drive in my Lil Z3 and I'm hopping to have this car till the day I die.

Yabbut we have been driving cross country for
over 10 years... So we shall not endure complaints of too far to drive....

No offense intended...I just get...
a kick out of those east coast folks who complain about driving "that far" when so many folks from the west coast have been driving or flying "that far" for the past 13 years.
Besides, we are proud of what we have to offer out here so we are anxious to host an event and show off a bit.
Cheers,
Scott Pettit

envious
no offense taken. Envious - yes. I have considerable envy for you and all of the others from the left coast that have the time and resourses to make such a journey. Jealous - absolutely. Someday I will get to make the trip to the Pacific coast and see what the other side is so proud of. This is a beautiful country we live in and you meet some of the best people driving a roadster.
