Come join BMW’s from all over Texas and our neighboring states as we meander through the breath-taking Hill Country surrounding the Marble Falls area. Join us Friday night for dinner, Saturday for the drive, lunch and touring two vineyards with dinner on Saturday night, then we will head over to the famous Bluebonnet Café for breakfast Sunday before heading home.

Our host hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express in Marble Falls, TX. There is a block of 20 rooms reserved for the BMW Vintage Auto Club. You must rsvp by September 9. All remaining rooms will be released on this date. Call 830-693-0707 to make your reservations today.

Dinner Friday evening at 6:30 pm will be held at the River City Grille offering a casual atmosphere and set in rustic Texas decor overlooking the Lake Marble Falls. They serve all your favorites created from family recipes for that home-style cooking. You can even start your wine tasting here as they offer 36 different wines.

Get your breakfast at the hotel as we start out on our drive through the ever scenic Texas Hill Country. We take a route through the Longhorn Caverns Park, past the Falkenstein Castle, across the Buchanan Lake Dam and into our first stop at Fall Creek Wineries. Here we will tour the winery and vineyards, enjoy a tasting session and then take in the early afternoon with lunch on the patio.

Our route in the afternoon will take us further west and on to our second winery of the day. At Lost Creek Vineyard we will take a tour and enjoy an afternoon tasting. Lost Creek Vineyard has been referred to as an oasis in the Hill Country. The grounds of Lost Creek are host and home for butterflies, bees, geese, swan and a stop over for migratory birds on the central flyway route. This is a welcome place to enjoy the fruits of the wine a wonderful setting to smell the flowers and take in the scenery. Lost Creek Vineyard is home to 3 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes.
Then we will cruise back into Marble Falls with enough time to freshen up for dinner at Russo’s where Italian style meets Texan taste. Dinner will be at 7pm.

Sunday morning breakfast will be held at the famous Blue Bonnet Café, known for their cinnamon rolls, but you have to get there early as they only make so many each day. We will meet here at 9:00 am.

When everyone is full and ready for a Sunday drive home and our goodbyes are said, we will depart until next year.
