Mud Flaps

Has anyone installed the BMW front and/or rear mudflaps on a 128 themselves? How hard is it? Do you need to remove the wheels? Are there pilot holes already there?
I'm thinking of ordering them, but already know the dealership will charge $250 to install them.
I wanted to know if I can do it myself with minimal effort? Thanks.

and there may be dimples in the metal but I think no holes. Best answer is to go outside and look at your car. If/when you drill, make sure you prime/paint the bare metal in the hole or it will soon rust
