    I received this last Thursday...

I had a pleasant surprise arrive Thursday night, but I have been too busy at work to play yet... I'm glad I tried Bavarian Auto Recycling again. Even though I had to return the incorrect doortops I had received, they handled my refund expeditiously, so I believed them to be worthy of a second try. I called to see if I could find a clean restorable instrument support and bezel with a nice clear, uncracked plexiglass, and the guy said he had exactly what I need for $100 + shipping.

Imagine how pleased I was that the part I wanted was correct, in nice condition, and with a good plexiglass. Not only that, but I did not expect to also find a complete set of VDO guages attached - and it wasn't the wimpy 1980 national 55 MPH speed limit speedometer, but a Euro 150 MPH unit. I always thought a speedometer that only goes up to 85 MPH on a car capable of about 135 was a bit silly. At any rate, the guages alone are probably worth as much as or more than the bezel. Hats off to Bavarian Auto Recycling.

Did you put them on the right way around this time?

    Thank you...

...I have personally used that joke a few too many times, but it needed to be said ;-)
