Zeattle Area Z Get together
Well, summer is rapidly coming to an end, and what better way to kick off the fall season than a bbq!
So, for those of you who would like to come to, or are in Zeattle, how about a get-together?
Our house, on Saturday Sept 25th, say 2:00ish?
We can hang out, swap lies, oops I mean stories, cook something on the grill, and toast out the summer.
An RSVP email gets you the directions to the house. I think that I have a large parking area near the house, I'd like to zee how many Z's we can fit. If we get a bunch, latecomers get to hike up the hill!

what do you play, and with whom?
I'm a former professional clarinetist/bass clarinetist, and Lobo (he's not around much anymore) is also a bass clarinetist. I used to play in the US Air Force Band in Washington, DC.

We're getting close to a WW quintet!
Lobo can play the bassoon parts (on his bass clarinet...close enough), I'll take clarinet, you take horn. Now we just need an oboe and flute. Great picture, by the way. Too bad I can't hear you play in it.
Ironically, while I'm out here in Germany, the Chief of tha USAF Europe band found out I am working tactics asked for me to go play with them. Unfortunately I can't exactly leave one deployment for another in a completely different career field, but kinda nice to know someone still wants to hear me play!
If you want me to look for a horn, let me know. I couldn't exactly try it out for you, my horn chops are pathetic. I used to be able to play "When the Saints Go Marching In," but that was 15 years ago in my horn class in college. Ugly stuff...
