I also have a problem with my navigation screen, My screen shows Im at another location? about 8 miles away. The movement and all is working just showing some other location, Thanks

Dealer or indie will have to check for fault code as described below.


The customer may have one or more of the following complaints:

Incorrect vehicle location is displayed.

Map displays only background color, no streets.

Route Guidance cannot be started.

Route cursor moves to incorrect route.

HIP (Host Independent Positioning) module cannot be initialized.

CCC does not update the location when the vehicle is in motion.

The following fault may be stored in the CCC-A (Car Communication Computer – Applications)

"A062 – No communication with Hip module"

CAUSE
HIP module software/hardware

Hey cobra, yea some of those match my problem, incorrect locations, no streets , So i will have to take it to the dealer then for and Update?

Looks that way to me or an independant service location that can handle current model BMWs.
