    Newbie Questions

I purchased a 2007 328i last Thursday. I also have a 2000 M roadster, but it is not nearly as high tech. The driver sideview mirror is adjustable, but will not adjust enough(even manually) whereby it is useful without bending my head down. I am only 5'2". Has anyone else experienced problems with getting the mirror adjusted properly. It is not a problem on my 2000.

As luck would have it, on friday a rock from a lawnmower took out the passenger side window. The shop that replaced the window told that I would have to get the dealer to reset the regulator to get the window to work properly. Is this legit. I have not tried the window for fear of having it get stuck in the down position.

Thanks for the helpI want to die young...as late as possible.

you should have gone to a BMW indie shop

what's the point of replacing if you still have to bring it to the dealer to fix it?

None, but I didn't know that you had to get it reprogramed. Neither did the shop until they talked to the dealer, after the replacement.I want to die young...as late as possible.
