    E90 E92 E93 Reliability Issues

I'm a visitor from the E46 and E39 boards. My wife and I would like to replace a 325XiT. Since all BMW models have "issues" I was wondering if you would share the ones you know about?

I could have have saved myself a lot of trouble before I bought an E39 540/6. If I had known all the issues that model has, I would have passed. I still have the car and I am constantly dealing with some sort of repair. I've become a better than passable DIY mechanic. I would sell it but my wife and I love it.

Thanks ahead of time for the replay.

    '08 E92 335i...Driver's seatbelt replaced because

it would catch when you pulled it out to fasten. Plastic trim around rearview mirror rattled and was replaced. Single software update to correct transmission shifts and address waste gate rattle. Rattling waste gate is GOOD. That's it! Not bad for any BMW with over 30K on the clock. So far it's been the most trouble free car I've ever owned.
