    Speedometer lighting problem

I have a BMW Z3 1998 and my question is about the speedometer lighting in the cluster. Everything is lit except for the smaller 160 kmh.I have the dual american type guages with the larger mph on top and the smaller kmh underneath. Its kinda of strange why only the one number is not lit up? Its like its dirty or something fell behind it. I dont think it would be the beige bulb since all the other numbers are lit on it.

Any ideas what it could be or how it can be fixed?

    Thanks.

    Mark

    Common quality problem

The top layer is delaminating. To fix, you need to pull the cluster, pull the needles, pull the top layer off, clean all the glue, respray with 3M product, reapply the to layer, press down carefully and reinstall needles and speedometer.

ok, now this is strange. the problem fixed itself. it now lights up like before. not sure how it happened but im happy. maybe there was some dust or something that worked loose.
