Stuttgart today...Porsche and Merc museums...
I'll post pics in the next few days when I get a chance. The Porsche museum was smaller and not quite as good as the BMW one (it had some sexy cars, though, that's for sure), but the Mercedes museum beats both of them. It's huge, the display is logical and easy to follow, they give a free audio tour, and the gullwings are abundant :-)

Drive a BMW to the Merc museum and a merc
to the BMW museum. We'll do a scientific experiment and see which gets vandalized worse!

A few pics...
Here are a few pics from Stuttgart. They're a little out of order (a Merc here, P-car there...sorry 'bout that). I took a million more but this is what you get :-)

No, I never told me that...
Sorry, I had to say it that way :-) I didn't know him, it was still the "JAM" crew...Jane and Mike, or something like that. I did go to the same church as Scott Murray, the sports guy...is he still around out there?
I'm glad to know that you think of me while you're watching the news. As long as my mug shot doesn't show up, I'll always be flattered! Incidentally, that's why I always smile in pictures, so that if my picture DOES show up on the news, I won't look mean and the public will like me :-)
Yeah, the tractor caught me off-guard. I bet it plowed the field in a hurry, though.

Re: No, I never told me that...
Hmm...Scott Murray huh? Well, I'm sure he's a nice guy, and we all make mistakes, but I have to be honest, I have some less than ideal feelings towards the guy.
It's no secret that my opinion of Jerry Jones is about the same as Mary's, albeit I try my best not to hate the team because of him. It's not those guys fault that have a stooge for an owner. But the guy nauseates me, and he's the sole reason I have problems rooting for the team at times.
One of the biggest reasons I don't like Jones is the way he got rid of Landry. The man in the hat deserved a better going away party. And not only did Jones not allow Landry to have a going-away-season, where the fans and even other clubs could tip their hat to the guy, but Jones actually told a certain sports reporter that he was going to fire him before he even had the class to tell Landry himself. And yea, Murray was the one that broke the news to Landry.
If that had been an innocent mistake and Murray would have left it at that, I could get over it. I mean, maybe Murray didn't realize Tom didn't know yet and was shocked when he realized what he'd done. But I kinda doubt it bummed him too much because he/NBC 5 actually broke into regular programming that afternoon to announce that Landry had be fired, knowing good and well that Jones had possibly still not spoken to Landry. When I heard how that all had gone down, it really ticked me off. Ah, but such are ratings. :(
So Jones is still more at fault in the big picture, but it sorta changed my opinion of Murray. As far as him still being around, I'm not sure. I don't seem to see him doing the sports anymore, but it seems I still hear the name from time to time. Maybe he's in upper mgmt these days and still with the station, but very seldom actually in a broadcast. Not really sure.
Btw, Mike Snyder retired. The had a full week 'going away/retirement" party thing for him. I'd forgotten how long that guy had been there. 20something years I think. Yea, he was a good one. And always seemed to be doing some kind of charity work.
Jane's still there.
