    Vanos assembly needed

Anyone have an old double vanos that would fit a 99 528 lying around. I want to have the seals replaced in it so I can do a swap with the one in my 528.

    Buckwheat,

You're going to have trouble finding a double just "lying around". Even ones with high mileage, that are rebuilt (read: Rajaie's new seals are put in it) go for like $275-$325---even on Ebay.

Your better off, imho, in just forgetting getting another one and take yours off, put the seals on, and enjoy the results. It is honestly really simple to do it, and there is no need to have another vanos replacement unit. The only thing that really wears in that unit is those seals, and Rajaie has provided the fantastic & cheap replacement option for everyone.

    Good luck!

    I know

I have read the write up but it really look intimidating to me and over my head. I was hoping to find one, talk Raj into rebuilding it and then having someone swap it out for me.
