Yes, I think so. Maybe the book.
I haven't looked closely at it all, but did it say how much it will cost?

U can get the book or CD for $99 plus shipping (m)
or both for $115 IIRC. They will send us an email that you upload a pic and a paragraph or two about your car, etc. Wonder if they will print some of the horror stories you read here, radiator exploding, ABS, etc?
Sort of pricey but it does support the CCA.
They said that if you are not happy with the product it is returnable for your money back.
I'm getting the book. So are you going to use the pic of your car when you were installing a new windshield gasket?

Haha! Kinda pricey, but I heard they do good
work. You mean the picture of my back side or the one of my dried out fingers? ;-) Which one will you send? The one where she's half nekked with her front end parts removed while sitting on jacks in your garage?

I got an open letter from the CCA Exec Director
my spam filter must have filtered the email from Harris Publishers. In the open letter he describes the project more in depth. He explains that turning it over to Harris was the most cost effective way to get it done with no upfront costs. If you participate and buy the book it is self supporting, costing members that don't participate nothing.
There was also this link which is great, some of the people depicted 40 years ago are still around, driving bimmers and attending Octoberfests.
The early history of the BWM CCA
I'm thinking of actually getting my car detailed and submitting a pic or 2.

He sent the letter out because some people
were getting freaked out their personal info was being passed along to this company.

This is some great stuff...
I'm at work, so the d/l is going about 100kbs an hour... So, I'm barely 1/4 of the way thru it (going on two hours now)... It will be interesting to see if they mention the first members of some of the other chapters along the East Coast... My Mom and Dad were two of the original 13 members of the Philadelphia chapter or Bucks County chapter... I can't remmeber... I was barely one at the time... I was in the passenger seat when my Mom rolled our '72 2002... I sustained only minor cuts, probably because I was asleep when it happened... This happened in '74 (IIRC), but I still have the BMWCCA sticker they gave out back then, holding together the shattered glass from the accident... I'll see if I can locate it and take a pic for yous guys, along with the few pictures I have of the car; post accident...
Have a great weekend all!!!
Cheers!!

I had the dates wrong... Apologies...
Good day all!!
Okay, my Mom corrected me about the dates... They joined a Pennsylvania chapter in 74-75... And the accident was late 75, early 76. My Mom is overseas and of course, she has the picture... I'm still looking for, what is left of the back window... LOL!!
Have a great weekend!!!
Cheers!!
