    Rear light warning on...

My rear light/ brake bulb light warning is on. All rear lights seem to be working fine. Do I need to replace some kind of sensor or something? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jaco

this is common. On sedans the grounds are.....

too small they are brown wires in the harness and that small wire is the ground for all the lights in there. I jumped the ground with assistance from a post here do an archive search and you will find tons of posts on this.Coupes have a different issue though.
    good luck,
    Dave

    Rear light warning on... . . . . . . . . .

start by replacing the bulbs with BMW supplied bulbs, clean
and tighten the bulb socket holders, and unplug the wiring plug
connector to the housings a couple of time to clean the pin connectors.
All is very sensitive to incorrect resistance and triggering the LIGHT OUT warnings

USE ONLY BMW BULBS FROM ANY BMW DEALER!!
