NE1 no anything about Jeep Rubicon's?????

are they complete POS and rust buckets with lack of power or have they gotten better since my highschool college days?

I like this one but wanted to hear what those that have experience think or know.

They are not rust buckets; those days are gone. They are more civilized than the old days but are still not "refined" especially the Rubicon that has higher ride height, stiffer springs and shocks; it is made from the factory to be a serious off road toy and as such has sacrificed some of the refinment built into the newer Jeeps.

Wife's car is 2002, no guts no glory rusting fende

rs, paint job sucks OTT a fun vehicle if you like to rough it and don't expect to drag anyone, absolutely no torque on the highway even with the 4.0 "big"6.......
We have undercoated it since new (not every year) but it still rusts like crazy, of course we are probably in one of the worst corrosive locations here in NS Canada.

Can't speak for the newer ones really, my son in Ottawa bought a 2008 model like in your pic a couple of years ago haven't heard any complaints yet and haven's seen it lately.

Re: NE1 no anything about Jeep Rubicon's?????

I've spent some time offroading and have come across many on the trails. If this is what you plan on doing with it it is more than capable in stock from but if you plan on strictly driving it on the street I don't see the point. This is just my opinion, but I would rather by an E53 for the same price and have the refinement of a BMW. If you do plan on using it offroad It is an awesome truck.
