Brake Rotor Rattle?
Is it true that two piece brake rotors -rattle-??? ECS just sent me an email for 330i rotors with 77% off! I love a good deal. But my wife's 02 330i is just a daily driver. I was going to order them ($149 front/$129 rear for a SET with FREE Shipping as well!!! Genuine BMW as well. Wow!!! But the salesman said they will rattle.
Is this true? If nothing else, now you guys know about this deal. ECS Tuning. Please let me know what your experience has been. Thanks!

Brake Rotor Rattle? sure . . . . . .
the whole point of the design is the rotor 'floats'
on buttons - to help keep heat away from the wheel bearings,
and to help prevent rotor warpage due to high temps.
As the buttons losen up - the rotor will develope a rattle, zinging
noise.....some might like it, others will compain and whine about it.
Kinda like some people LOVE the sound of a DUCATI dry clutch
with the loud clattering-rattle of clutch-plates instead of a quiet
enclosed wet clutch.
