I must admit that I was unaware that he hadn't...
filed Chapter 7. He certainly could have...and left everyone high and dry. Most in his position would have. He still has the home for which we supplied all of the trim...or at least his baby's Momma still has it. I hope he continues to succeed and can manage to stay on a path that keeps him away from his "hood friends(including his brother, Marcus)" that he let drag/keep him down. I hate Philly but I like watching Vick play. What to do?
Vick to pay back $$$$

Gotta give him credit.
I have a hard time having any kind of compassion for the guy given what he did to end up in prison.
Also - being a Cowboys fan, you can imagine how I feel about the Eagles. I think I said "that's the only team that would pick Vick up". I also feel bad for McNabb. That guy is a class act.
Good for him on stepping up his work in his profession and not taking the easy way out on what he owes. Fuggin figures that his bankruptcy lawyers get the lions share of his money.

I have a newfound respect for him.
I understand what he did and how terrible it is...but it was a mistake. And apparently, a mistake his is learning from. Can't ask much more from anybody...
He spoke here (in Connecticut) a couple weeks ago about the evils of what he did (ie. dogfighting). Seems like he is truly trying to make restitution.

investment and other income counts
if from everything he had there was more than $50K a year coming in, he wouldn't qualify for 7. also, unless i'm mistaken, creditors may be able to object to 7 based on past and likely future income and force 11 instead. obviously i don't know the details of his situation nor am i a lawyer, just saying that most likey he didn't have a choice of going 7.
