    Power Shut Down Completely

89-735i... I was driving home Wednesday evening. As I approached a stop sign the "anti Lock" light went on, radio and headlights shut off. They came on about 2 minutes later. As I approached another stop sign the anti lock light came on. I began to think the car can sense stop signs. I stopped at the sign but when I accelerated into an intersection the power shut off, engine quit. I had nothing as if someone had cut my battery cable. Is there a safety shutoff when a brake problem occurs? Had the car towed to a local garage but don't have much confidence that they will find the problem without help. I'll likely be spending Christmas without a car. Any advice greatly appreciated.

check the fusable links close to the battery

there are 2 and I posted pics before, also check the alternator voltage. Most probably a power system failure.Shogun E32 Tech Tips: http://twrite.org/shogunnew/topmenu.html

Thanks Shogun. Checked your site but didn't find the pics of fusible links. What do you mean by power system failure? What parts make up the power system?
