    200 MPH 'Cuda

This is way off-topic, but knowing there are some real car guys on this forum, I thought I'd put up a link to the Build Photos of the Super 'Cuda that Dream Car Garage built in '09 (I wish that show was still on SPEED).

Amazing car: Viper V-10 engine, intercooled twin turbo-chargers, full chassis, four fuel pumps (picture #166) lots of time and a yitload of money.

One thing's for sure in this life... it won't be under my Christmas Tree this (or any other) year.

Got to love it! Had the Challenger T/A to

150 mph once with stock suspension... very scary! Gets very light in the front, but man, that 340 sounded dam good at 8400 RPM!!! Going to miss the car when it is gone but the Viper convertible that will replace it should sooth the ache.Fritracer

Re: Thanks, wish we could drive on that track

Had some freinds who did in the early 80's when the Mopar Nationals were there. They owned Superbirds, 440 6 Paks and Hemis; speed limit was supposed to be 55 mph; FAT CHANCE! They were escorted out of the facility after being clocked well north of 130 mph.
Mopar Nationals were never again held there due to the total diregard of the speed limit. Can't believe the track manager actually thought people with these high horsepower, modified cars would really do 55 mph on such a beautiful track just begging for speed.Fritracer

Well Fritracer, if you followed the example of the TV show, you'd have both.

Would that be called a Villanger, or a Chaper? Viplanger? Challiper? I think I'd probably call it call it "OH SH!T!!!"

150 MPH in a car from that era...

with stock suspension...all I can say is HOLY [email protected]!!!

I remember pinning the speedo at 120 MPH (Couldn't tell how fast I was really going.) in my Chevelle SS once, and that felt downright scary.

Re: just scammers and brokers. Bad time

Do I want to? Hell yeah. Can I? Unfortunately, no.

The plumbing busted in my Mom's mobile home soaking the floor. I'm in the midst of replacing about a quarter of the particle board floor decking and about half of the carpeting in her place. Last weekend, I spent nearly $3000 replacing the furnace and a/c coil in my house. And I'm in the process of removing everything (cabinets, fixtures, and drywall) in my other house down to the bare studs in order to repair some old storm damage. My disposable income has been disposed all to hell.

Have you thought about selling the car at an auction, or at a MOPAR special event?

Sorry to here of the troubles; hope it all

    works out for the better.
If the T/A doesn't sell in the next month, I'll take it to the Mopar Nationals in August; It will sell there for sure. I was really hoping to sell it before summer so I could get the Viper convertible for summer fun. I'll see how it goes. Fritracer
