Anyone have experience with ebay...
...buyer protection services. I bought a coupla fenders from pinwall cycle parts inc. 22 days ago, and haven't got jack to show for it. I e-mailed the company last week, and got no response. Just sent a 2nd e-mail demanding a full refund to my paypal account within 24hrs, or I would contact e-bay. In contrast, I bought a used tank from another company and it was on my doorstep within 3 days.

Re: Anyone have experience with ebay...
I would suggest you contact eBay as soon as you can. My experience with them has been nothing but good. I bought something that was described as fitting a ceertain thing and it did not fit. The seller said in his add that it was not returnable. eBay took it back, refunded my money and paid for the return shipping.98 Z3 1.9 ; HMS strut tower brace, antisway bars, and roll bar; Supersprint cat back exhaust; Dinan chip; Whalen Shift Machine; Strong-Strut Butt strut; FOGGED air box, Downing Atlanta Supercharger.

Here they are...
Rear fender
Front fender
...In a very rare instance of foresight, I decided it would be better to bob a coupla old ebay fenders, as opposed to butchering Abby's fenders. I've been buying crap off ebay for years, this is the first time I've been rooked in an ebay deal. If the seller hasn't refunded the money to my paypal account buy noon today I'm contacting ebay buyer protection services.

The story so far...
...Filed a claim for each fender, within 30 minutes the seller responded for each incident with the same e-mail:
"This item was shipped seperatly and should be arriving shortly. When your original box was packed this item was looked over, we apologize for the delay but it has been shipped."
Like duh, uhmmmmmmm, we forgot to ship the front with the rear, and by the way, we forgot to ship the rear with the front... so nothing got shipped...
I can appreciate a good lie, and this is laughable, in a pathetic kinda way, but I'm not in the mood for humor right now. Maybe installing a pair of Napoleon bar-end mirrors on the bike will put me in a better state of mind.

While their story is goofy. . .
Maybe your complaint has prompted them to get off their asses and you will get your fenders soon? At least we can hope!

Good Gawd man, have your dreads been
strainin you brain? It took me fifteen minutes just to download all the bad feedback this lowlife has...... Check it here! Which will not doubt grow by two more after you're finished with em.... You might want to be a bit more selective of your Parts Pimp in the future... Just sayin.....

I'm not sure I'm following the logic.
If we toss "neutral" ratings for obvious reasons:
1 month 2798 pos/14 neg .005%
6 month 20720 pos/102 neg .005%
12 months 42701 pos/273 neg .006%
I'd bet over 1/2 the Fortune 500's wish they had that good of a rating with their client base.
Sounds to me like Skin did his homework (he noted the 99.3% positive feedback rating in another post). Sometimes schitt happens.
Btw, if it took you 15 mins to download that info, you either need a new computer or you need to upgrade that dial-up modem. :)

Oh Joe....
In the ebaY world that IS a big deal... There are people out there with twice the feedback with 0 negatives. That is the logic... It is not just the negatives but the types of things that go on... People are reticent to post negative feedback so probably for every one neg there a two or three un-posted negs...

Final outcome...
I contacted Ebay twice. Got a full refund, and the company sent me the rear fender as well, used some of the refund money to buy a front fender from another seller, that fender was at my apartment 3 days after the purchase. Gonna give the bike a military makeover with some rattle can olive drab... if it ever warms up enough to spray the bike=8^\
