    *sigh* best I can do in the dp4 is ~9 minute lap

    on the ring.
    Man is it hard to memorize the whole couse and drive the proper line all the time!

    rfactor is cheap www.rfactor.net and dp4 is a free download. so is nordschleife (get the 2007 v2.2 or later).

    is that full (including gp) or tourist?

    7:40 tourist (7:10 BTG) is doable with base config.

    in real life i once managed just over 9 minutes (BTG which is about 30-40 sec short of a full tourist lap) in an automatic 320d rental, and 10 minutes flat BTG in a ford fusion rentacar. that same day i got a ride in a M3 csl on r compounds at 7:52 BTG, that guy was running 7:40 earlier when M rode along with him. that was fun.

    for me at least, much of the track you can 'read' so you only need to memorize the tricky blind parts.

    tourist - remembering all the tricky blind parts i

    is the hard part. Hmm well that and getting bumped off track from one of the AI drivers

    The first half of the course is easier for me to remember, in the last half, I start losing time because I start engine braking because im not sure whats beyond the blind corners.

    Im using testing and 4 cars always show up

    dp, M, and 2 others.. Its nice to have them there except M seems to want to bump me off track at times.. LOL

    Its prolly has to do with the way I installed it and my multiple attempts.

    btw if you haven't rated dp4 on fractorcentral

    today is the last day to rate mods eligible for mod of the year 2010... looks like there are 45 contenders and we need to be in the top 10 to qualify. i think we're close.
