    Gasoline smell from under the car

    Perhaps someone can help with a gassy situation.
    There is a fairly strong gasoline smell coming from under my 29,000 mile '02 MCoupe. No drops on the driveway and I jacked it up and examined under the car and didn't see any staining on the tank or other components. When I drive it I can smell a strong gasoline odor 'specially at freeway speeds when the passenger window is down. What can it be?
    It looks like quite a project to pull the fuel tank.
    I appreciate any help.

    Most of the fuel delivery to the engine is on the driver's side.
    My guess is that you're smelling part of the venting system.
    Check RealOEM for likely spots to check:
