A quick hello, thanks and apology.
Before I forget, a big thanks for those that sent a Christmas card. I apologize for not saying thanks earlier, but until late last week I didn't even know any were received. It was only when Kim started breaking down the Christmas stuff she asked me "did you ever see these Christmas cards from people I presume you know?". Well... um, no. Deal is, 99% of all the mail we get is for her, so I let her take responsibility for the mailbox. All I ever get is the AW and Roundel rags, so I really pay little attention. Again though, thanks much and sorry I didn't say something sooner and sorry I didn't get around to sending anything out (what goes out of this house is Kim's job too). I didn't realize anyone was doing cards this year or I'd have covered that.
Between work and other stuff, not to mention Kim's car (which took 2 months to get repaired!!!!) things have been crazy. Mostly good, but crazy. And btw, if anybody's sent me a Yahoo email recently, apology for not responding to that too. Somehow it seems my Yahoo passwd got mucked up and I haven't been able to check it for what seems like 2 months now, and just haven't gotten around to setting up a new one. Talking to someone at Yahoo is almost impossible, and so is receiving some sort of intelligent email back from them. :(
On the upside, I'm happy to report that I drank my first beer since October 2009 last weekend, and even better, I'm happy to report (which most weren't aware of to begin with) that in just a few weeks (first week of February) I'll have been cancer free for 1 freekin year, assuming the upcoming PET is clean like the other tests so far have been. Trust me folks, throat cancer isn't something you want to jack with. There are far far better weight loss programs out there. :)
Chip, I trust Donna's doing well. Still think about y'all often, and hopefully she's feeling Ok lately.
Otto, sorry to hear about the stones (? was it stones or do am I confusing my players?). Sorry too to hear about the feeding tube. Even though all my docs seemed to feel very strongly about me getting one of those, I opposed it. I could get my head around a chemo port, but no way in hell could I wrap my head around the tube. Happily I made it. Barely, but I made it. Good luck to you sir, and hopefully everything's straightened out soon.
Hope to start hanging out a little more than I have been, but it won't be from the office much anymore. Seems our big brother softare can detect images, and anytime there's a post with nudity I'm blocked from getting to this board. I can get anywhere else I go on Roadfly but here. Thought I was imagining things, but talked to our CSO and he acknowledged the new release is just that intelligent. Freekin amazing. (thanks Klex!!!!) :-)
Hope everybody's doing well, take care and talk to you later.

VG news Rusty...now on to years 2,3,4 etc
Donna is hanging in there. She got good/bad news last week. Last Friday's CT showed that the largest liver met hasn't grown since the last CT months ago. Bad news is she's got pneumonia. Small potatoes compared to the cancer but still cause for concern. She'll be OK in a few days. Keep up the good work bud! And don't be such a stranger.
