I don't much like moving
Feels like I am moving out of 2 places places at the same time, into 2 other places, that are 2000 miles from each other.

Just bought the farm, literally
4acre large homestead with all the usual out buildings in Iowa, slow convert to a bed breakfast, horses, and aquaponics to make it profit in it's AG zoning.(15 rooms, 3 stories w/basement) Close to Hawkeye country. College/medical base.
1acre w/updated 2/1 in Monterey rural, white vinyl fence and flat lot.

if it wasn't for family
Then I wouldn't do this biz venture, but we have support for it. Back when I was in the Navy was when I first made this trek and many times after with friends in both places. I moved people out of Cali to Iowa for jobs and saw them get contractor licenses when the got back. Weddings to go to in Cali. Even though I grew up in the Midwest I almost got more connections here. So I'm doing both, great friends both places.
I haven't even mention the Baja place.
I'm now in Monterey making this house settled and furnished. Just walked our one horse 2 mi to her new location. Getting things out of the motorhome and out of our previous house. About Feb I'll drive some stuff to Iowa for further setup back there. Got fence to put in at both places.
I'm lucky I didn't make any ties to people when I was in Chile.
