Bad plug wires was the reason for only six running

Well it all started with EML light so i got Wuffer to send me rebiult DKs motor, fixed that light then only six cylinders run off and on while feathering pedal. I think it was about 3years ago i bought them plugs wires of of ebay for a steal of a price like $300 for the set. Well being a daily driver and at 170k miles on me 92 850i those wires went south on me in the cold weather, so i save the bosch wire set that has the plastic covering on them to shield the heat and cold it seems. I put them back on with a new set of plugs and she is back to normal. I do have a problem with windows and wipers not working early in the morning from a first start in the cold but after car is warm we are good. Any help on that would be appreciated.

Glad you were able to get ur car up and running. As for the wipers and windows (as well as door locks) not working in the cold mornings is a sign of a bad GM.

Maybe you should have bought some Magnecor cables. They are only $380 and have a 10 year warranty. Silicon jacket and insulation and the 7.0mm sets fit inside the ducting if you wish.
