Re: Thirty-two years ago...
It has been that long for me as well. I really don't remember anything about the city at this point. It is fun getting old. You can hide your own Easter eggs.98 Z3 1.9 ; HMS strut tower brace, antisway bars, and roll bar; Supersprint cat back exhaust; Dinan chip; Whalen Shift Machine; Strong-Strut Butt strut; FOGGED air box, Downing Atlanta Supercharger.

That's one of the funniest things I've read here..
"You can hide your own Easter eggs." I love it.
Like Doug, I just dined on some squid (in a very good paella). Other than the cathedral and the historic royal palace, there isn't a whole lot going on downtown (typical shopping and restaurants). I did go into the room where Magellan and Amerigo Vespucci planned their journeys. Talk about "American" history!
It's a beautiful city, architecturally (half moorish), and probably a lot of fun at night. We only spent a few hours down there but now it's back to the grind :-)<img src="http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs225.snc4/38573_416031212964_748877964_4854801_8274202_n.jpg ">

Does the family ever get to go along???
Just wondering whether the wife and kids ever get to go along for the ride.
My wife and I flew from NH to Spain (in a roundabout way, through England and Germany) to visit friends that we had known when I was stationed in Germany.
We took advantage of that, just before my enlistment was up.
Couldn't beat the $10.00 airfare! :-)
During the trip over, all of the passengers got to watch from the boom-operator's position, as the tanker we were on fueled up a couple F-15's, near the Azores.

Well I've never been to Spain.....
But I kinda like the music...
Say the ladies are insane there
And they sure know how to use it;
They don't abuse it
Never gonna lose it
I can't refuse it.
