Speaking of eBay buys
My headlights are starting to cloud over. Any reason I shouldn't buy new clear covers on eBay?

As long as yours aren't the headlights that won't(
open then these should be OK. I also got my front smoked covers from ebay. I just didn't like the egg yoke turn signals. I replaced the front side markers too.
If you get new front covers you should also get Xpel film to put on them.
They really do a great job and keep the lenses pit free. My original covers after 60K miles looked like crap, all pitted, but not cloudy.
I put Xpel on them and they looked almost new. The clear adhesive filled in most of the pits.
When I got the smoked covers I put Xpel on them before I left the garage. These have 70K on them and they look 98% new.

Nice mod. Now the real question. If you open the
garage door and turn it on, can it be seen through 3 feet of snow. I hope you're ok with that blizard and all.

Wow! Very impressive...the amount of snow
looks like my yard last February! Oh yea, nice light work to. You can keep all the snow, we have had on the ground since Dec 2 and more predicted tonight, although we have not been hit anything like you guys on the east coast. Good luck and wish for summer.Fritracer
