Saw a guy today in Hawaii driving around in an ...

60's Ford Cobra 427...big side pipes and a great sound. I still get nervous that only the driver gets a roll-hoop. The passenger is SOL in a roll-over. He was cruising through a shopping center parking lot. I was hoping he'd park the car but didn't.

Do you think it was a real one?

Doubt very much if it was true to the year, but ...

May of been a licensed or unlicensed replica. We had one with a 289 run at one of our autocrosses that seemed set up very well for the job. Originals are just worth to much.
Factory 5 cars have dual roll bars.

There's a guy near here that has a real

427, or so I'm told it's real. It's definitely metal, it is bare aluminum.

He drives it around from time to time.

I was in Reggie Jacksons garage and saw his

Amongst his other cars. They all get driven time to time also, but still they are valued over a mill.
