    their source is an unpublished Best Buy flyer with

    people who are not rushing to the streets to scream about this believe that "wifi" is yet another misprint and is supposed to say that "3G/4G" functionality requires activation of a data plan.

    I mean, unless of course you believe this will be sold for $800 requiring a data plan with no subsidy from Verizon.

    heres a scan of the actual flyer in question

    "lightning" is spelled wrong, and it says “activative” instead of activate.

    Would, “To activative WiFi functionality on this device, a minimum of 1 month data subscription is required.” not make a lot more sense if you subbed 3g/4g in for wifi?
