Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to BMW cars. We recently puchased a 2000 750iL. So far so good, just have trouble starting, cold or hot.
The car runs great, never misses a beat. A have ordered a new "crankshaft position sensor" and want to install it myself. Where is this piece located, or are there TWO on the V12 ? I am a patient man........
Can somebody help me with this ? PLease .....

    Cheers and thank you, Wilf

Don't know if that is your problem or not but the 2 crank sensors are at the bottom front of the bell housing (front of trany). the single cam position sensor is on front upper area of the left cylinder bank.
