So there was a motorcycle wreck on a road

near my house a few months back. The driver was killed, and the passenger was injured. The passenger's attorney has served notice that she is going to sue the city for a "defective road".

Basically there is a nearly 90 degree bend in the road, but it is clearly signposted and says 20MPH is the limit.

The rider was over twice the legal BAC and was speeding. He laid it down and both riders hit the guardrail on the far side of the road. I cannot believe that they have any case.

It seems to me that it would help a lot if whoever brings such a suit had to pay both parties legal expenses in such a frivolous case.

Really drunk, speeding, & it's the city's fault?

The coughing sound I just made could be confused with me saying that's boolsheet.

Another lady that lives near us was killed

last year when she rolled her SUV over the guardrail and into a field. She had just come back from a Christmas party. I wonder if they will be using that as proof of the case.

Truly all sad stories. I know that the lady in the SUV had small children. Really tragic. But when there's choices made like that, there will sometimes be dire consequences.
