Nay.
I'm not a fan of lasers...they take forever to spot the little dot, and it gets worse as you get farther from the target. The handgun is about fast target alignment, and I'm much faster with on-the-gun sights.
Go with night sights, or spend the money for one of the small pistol-sized red-dot sights.

That's no joke. Spend the money on a tactical trainer and some ammo with range time. But I like toys too, my personal favorite is the 300 lumen OLED rail mounted laser rail mounted under the barrel on my glock 34 long 9mm:.::::::: It essentially blinds them before you decide to ................... Plus its detachable and you can always use a small device that produces daylight instantly. I use lasers to align suspensions on my race car and aircraft/ weapons sights. Not speedy target acquisition.
