    Oh, that would suck. My pan is under there still

    I wasn't motivated enough to pull it and straighten it.

    Here is a wild story for you. I have a friend with an extremely nice 56 Belair Air hardtop. He has the thing on the ground.

    Anyway, we were running down the freeway following him when he hits one of those sections where they are doing road work. Well he gets pissed and hammers the car, gets the car a bit out of shape, when all of a sudden we see the car bellowing blue smoke everywhere and leaving a huge trail of oil.

    He immediately pulls the thing off at an off ramp. We are thinking he must of done something awful to the motor.

    We figure out, when he hit the bump it nocked loose his oil breather cap which went down and wedged between the pan and the pavement. The force of that shattered his fancy aluminum pan in the front dumping oil all over the ground and his engine.

    We were in another town for a car show, but someone in the group happened to know a guy with a shop there and had a steel pan. We made it to the show, but about an hour late....
