Original clutch - impressive. Exhaust really lasts
My clutch was replaced at about 90,000 miles because the release bearing was getting seized onto the spline. The old disk wasn't worn much. 171000 on the current clutch.
I replaced the cat a few yesrs ago to pass an emissions test. It was in great shape otherwise. The muffler looks like it's nearly done (corrosion).

yea the exhuasts are super expensive but damn good
A lot of BMW parts are over-priced, but I have to say the exhausts really are a good value in the long run. Same with my previous e36. At 220k that one was still fine too. Maybe just a little noisier than new but fine.
Same clutch on that one too. If you use it right I think the clutch disc itself would never wear out. Obviously you can still run into other mechanical problems like yours. But I think a lot of people let it slip way more than necessary.
