    A pals Mom had a similar issue many years ago

    She was a housekeeper at a motel and thought someone (another housekeeper) was stealing her tips. They set up the suspect.

    Her boyfriend worked as a printer. He got her some permanent ink and they marked the bills with the permanent ink. She didn't realize it was as a set up. She tried to wash the ink off her hands from handling the bills but it didn't come off. They busted her shortly thereafter.

    Its a rather crude method with some logistical details to work out, however it could be cheaper than setting up a camera (unless she uses your nice silk shirt to try and wipe the ink off or gets it on your hand knotted wool rug).

    Good Luck... that totally sucks if its her.

    Be a man, take a stand and get rid of her . She

    has lost your trust , guilty or not and now because you cant or wont change part of your schedule you are allowing this to become a bigger issue. If youre [Oops!] enough to detect a few random 20's gone from your wallet then you already know the answer.     What would you do if she called in sick?

    You've got to have a backup one way or another already, so put that out of your mind in this issue.

    To the matter at hand, tell your wife what you suspect so she won't take any cash without telling you, and then really keep track of your cash count before and after the nanny comes. If you can set up a little camera, that would be great as well.

    Another quick way catch her without buying a cam..

    Mark all the bills in your wallet with your initials. Use your cell phone to record yourself putting the marked bills in your wallet.
    Before you leave the house do a check of your wallet. If any are missing, confront her. Have her empty her pockets/purse. If she has one of the marked bills it's buh-bye time.

    Although, she could hide it in her bra/panties. So you'll have to strip search her (assuming she's hot...). LOL!
