    Broadband upgrade at the office

We have Verizon FIOS Internet, and we upgraded from 20/5 to 35/35. Makes no difference in day-to-day use (other than our nightly off-site backups), but still nice to see these numbers on the speed-test meter.

Hard to say; part of new package.

We also added several more phone lines and a fixed IP address, which moved us into some sort of new packaged plan which included the 35/35 service. I hear they also have a 50/50 service for an additional charge, but I didn't bother with that.

The whole fiber system seems very cool to me. The guy was able to give us a bunch more lines without actually running new physical lines into our office space - all phone lines and internet service come into our space via a single fiber cable.

Sweet. I would kill for FIOS.

My sole choice is the %*$^*^#! cable company who rips us off for $70/month for *up to 12Mbps* service which often is at or below 2Mbps.____________________________________________ ________________

Fios TV is also amazing, have had it almost 2

years now. Other day I upgraded DVR to a whole house version, it was done thru programming while I was on the phone with them. It is really great technology. It integrates with my i****s , phone and pad become remotes and DVR remote managers , can view photo album on big screen, I havent scratched the surface of whats available.

    Just signed up for DirecTV.

Whole house DVR and MLB Extra Innings. Hope I didn't screw up. It had better be an improvement over our sorry cable company.__________________________________________ __________________
