the "hard coat" is as important if not more
important than the UV protection. These lenses get sandblasted at highway speeds.

lol yah i got new wheel liners since most of them are torn up.
I loved the eagles for the first 15k miles/ Unbelievable in the rain. When they were in good condition they never hydroplaned. and i love the sideways rooster tails these tires create in the rain.
Also great tires in the dry but they tend to "tram-line" on imperfect roads and the big spaces in the grooves pick up alot of debris and i find myself pulling over alot thinking there's a bolt stuck in my tire but its just a rock in the tread.
Bottom line they are a great tire for the price.
