I know keef always likes to talk about new toys
I'm selling my 60" Sony SXRD tv and ordered a 55" Sony 3D tv. goggles coming in the mail as well. I'm interested in seeing how GT5 looks, since there's a 3D mode built into it... I ordered a new HT receiver as well, since you need one with 3d pass through. Nothing special, but it'll work.
Sony KDL-55HX800
Sony STR-DN1010

For the main family room
replacing the 60" Sony projection set. I did replace the old 50" Toshiba projection set in the basement bar with a Sony 52" LCD last fall. So now I'm switched over to all LCD tvs finally.
I underestimated how long it would take to download all the updates to that game yesterday, so I was only on to actually play for about a half hour at 11:30 last night. Hopefully I'll get more time on there in the next week. For my first car I picked up a '86 MR2 with a factory supercharger option. lol!

haha. surely.
My current system is finding a end-of-year tv at half the original price. This way, the wife can see it's a deal, the tv is nicer than what we have, and she reaps the benefits since she watches it a bit more than I. I always make sure I have a buyer in waiting for my existing set... if you turn them over on a 2 year or so basis, you can always get a couple hundred bucks out of the old set, while keeping up with technology. The single best thing I explained to the wife in this regard was the fact that we pay $1800+ a year in cable/internet. So we might as well have tools that allow us to take advantage of that, right?

So I got home last night around 2:00
totally drunk and exhausted... too exausted to play GT5 but I remembered that i had promised you a car!
So I scooped up a Golf IV... but no Imola yellow option. Resprayed it in yellow, not quite a match but pretty close.
Threw on some BBS RS.... but the car looked... off. Needed a drop.
Long story short ~$120k later you've got a stage 2 modified, lightweight GTI, with fully adjustable suspension, transmission, upgraded drivetrain, racing tires etc blah blah =)
Enjoy!
