NA Tuning questions please >
Hi all,
for the engine mods to a naturally aspirated engine:
What are other things could be possibly done to the car besides:
- Intakes/Exhaust system (headers, catless, catback exhaust)/ECU
- power pulleys
- lighter cam/pistons
& Reducing strung & unstrung weight (not sure if this fit in the engine mods, but it certainly helps the power-to-weight ratio)
Thank you for any input.
S.F.

Compression, fuel mixture, weight loss...
I think the term is Sprung and unsprung weight, but I might be wrong.
The general idea when tuning NA is getting the air into the engine with as little restriction as possible, and out as exhaust with as much advantage as possible (exhaust inertia can add power and cool the intake charge with proper valve overlap). Higher compression with greater knock resistance fuel will add power density as well.

ding, ding, ding... winner!
I was about to say "a fster car." Modding cars is very expensive, and often disasterous. My co-worker was always brangging about his turbo-charge MR2 after he found out I had the M3, saying he'll give me a ride in it... as soon as he finds another motor for it. The first one suffered "spontanioius disassembly."
